Matt Damon and his wife Luciana have welcomed another baby girl! 

They have named their little bundle of joy Gia Zavala Damon and a rep for the pair told AssociatedPress  "Everyone is great and she is a healthy, beautiful baby girl." Gia will have two big sisters Isabella, who is 2, and Luciana's daughter Alexa, 10.

Matt met his wife Luciana in 2003 while she was working as a bartender in Florida. They will no doubt be looking forward to another little playmate when Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have their baby, expected in the next few months.

The newly married Ellen DeGeneres has released a statement telling us all about her weekend wedding in her cute, funny, Ellen way! This is what she had to say:

"I had a big, big weekend. I got married to Portia de Rossi! Sorry, John Stamos…this one's taken.

You may notice something different about the way I'm writing…it's fancy. This is the font I type in now that I'm MARRIED! I do a lot of things differently now …I say, "I do" a lot. For example: Who wants to do pilates? I do. Would you like a Mountain Dew? I do. Do you know why I pulled you over? I do. And that was just this morning.

The wedding was everything we hoped it would be. I wish I could've invited all of you. But I have some pictures and video I can show you when Season 6 starts on September 8th. I can't wait to see them too…it was all a blur. See you then.

Ellen had previously been quoted as saying about Portia: "I feel like I found my perfect fit." They do look really happy together, so we hope this Hollywood relationship is able to stand the test of time, and that they have many years of happiness ahead of them.
 

Felicity Huffman seems to be a lot like her on-screen character Lynette Scavo - honest, caring, a frazzled mother and full of fun. The 45-year-old star appears on the September cover of More magazine. Here are some of the interview highlights:

On the Desperate Housewives' audition:
"I'd just left two screaming kids in the bathtub and it was raining," she recalls. "I thought I pulled myself together well. Later on, one of the producers said, 'It was so great, because you were such a mess and so frazzled, and your pants were filthy.' "

On her personal trainers and their attitude towards food:
"I've had a lot of trainers through the years, and they’re always like, 'Oh my god, you ate a muffin?' and 'What do you mean you weigh 125? You can’t shoot at that weight.' [Kirsten Holtgreen is] the first trainer who's said, 'You’re not eating enough.'"

On the stresses of maintaining her Hollywood figure:
"I'd take a vacation, and if I was heavy, it was a bad vacation, and if I was light—or, you know, lighter—it was a good vacation."

On feeling beautiful:
“For some reason, after giving birth—which is when you look like a bag of doorknobs—I actually looked at myself in the mirror and went, ‘I look beautiful!’ I don’t know why, but that sort of tipped it for me."

Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrel stepped into Heath's shoes in what was to become his final role in a movie. The three leading men ended up playing different versions of the Heath's character Tim, in the fantasy epic 'The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus'.

In a touching tribute, instead of taking home their pay packets, they have given their earnings to Heath's daughter Matilda. You may remember that Heath's will was written before Matilda was born, and therefore all of his money has gone to his family.

The Director Terry Gilliam said: "This doesn't happen very often ... where there's a tragedy like this, and very famous, very successful actors suddenly say, 'OK, we'll do whatever it takes to help',"

All of the men have their own children, and obviously felt strongly about looking after little Matilda's future. What a wonderful, honourable thing to do.

We are so thrilled to hear Christina Applegate has been given the all-clear after successful surgery for breast cancer. In an interview with Good Morning America, Christina said "I'm clear. Absolutely 100 percent clear and clean. ... They got everything out so I'm definitely not going to die from breast cancer." 

Christina has been getting mammograms since she turned 30, and it seemed these have most likely saved her life. The normal age for mammogram screening starts at 40. She said the cancer was found through the second of two MRI tests as a follow-up from a biopsy she had last year.

We are so pleased to hear everything went well. Don't forget, early detection is essential when you are dealing with these issues, so book your appointments and keep up your own regular checks. It may just save your life.

As you probably know, despite the claims of marriage and babies in the making, John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston split up. Many were speculating that it was Jennifer that gave him the boot for his inability to be faithful.
 

Well, John has set the record straight. He told reporters on the weekend, "There's no lying, there's no cheating, there's no nothing."

He then went on to say: "Jennifer Aniston is the smartest, most sophisticated person I think I have ever met." So in that case, why did he dump her? He says, "People are different, people have different chemistry." 

"I ended a relationship to be alone, because I don't want to waste somebody's time if something's not right."

I wonder if she thought it was right? Oh...love hurts, doesn't it.

I have just read the Brad and Ange copy of Hello Magazine, and wow, what can I say. The Jolie-Pitt's sure are a beautiful family. Knox and Vivienne steal the show in the household by the look of it, with all the kids taking their turn to hold the precious bundles. They all look so overjoyed by the little arrivals, and although life is hectic with six young children, you can see that Brad and Angelina would have it no other way.


 

OK Magazine are usually pretty accurate in their claims, but this one I'm not so sure about.

Yes, Jennifer Anniston and John Mayer are reportedly tying the knot in a low key ceremony. If this is true, what do you think? The love of her life or disaster waiting to happen? I hope it's the first one, but somehow, I'm not so sure.

It is so sad to hear but another young woman has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Christina Applegate, now 36 years old, has thankfully caught it early so is expected to make a full recovery. Christina has starred in shows such as Samantha Who and Married...with children.

Here is the statement from her publicist:

"Christina Applegate was diagnosed with an early form of breast cancer. Benefiting from early detection through a doctor ordered MRI, the cancer is not life threatening. Christina is following the recommended treatment of her doctors and will have a full recovery. No further statement will be issued at this time."

Sad news, but once again, such an important reminder to get regular check-ups.
