I'm pretty sure I must be the only one checking into this group! I have a contract for the new year. Who would (if you are around still) would like to give opinions on how to tackle your first year out!

What kind of behaviour management skills would you use on teenagers (in particular year 9 boys)??

I have internship in July for the whole of term 3...I hope i get to teach something i enjoy? How is everyone going?

Very quiet in here isn't it! My daughter's teacher is a first year Diana and she had an inspection lesson the other day. Boy it brought back memories. I didn't envy her. Do you get nervous or are you used to it?

wow- that's pretty good! Yeah im just writing essays at the moment for uni- just one for history about "To what extent can historians be objective?" I just really hope im well enough to stand up to him , to be assertive not rude that is...And luckily i have some good friends who are teachers who can help me. My english mentor is lovely! so that is encouraging...
