16 July 2008 - 2:10pm — GailWhen I was driving to work this morning Jumping Jack Flash came on the radio. I turned it up pretty loud and then hoped that I would not get pulled over for disturbing the peace. I didn't. I tapped and stamped my foot to the tune. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
The Eagles Experience Hotel California
14 July 2008 - 3:02pm — GailI went to the Show last week, The Eagles Experience Hotel California. It was pretty good. They are a band who have been performing this act for nine years. They claim to travel worldwide. Last week they were in Canada, then in Far North Queensland, Central Queensland and were off to New Zealand on Sunday. I was not strictly an Eagles fan but enjoy their music. These guys did some really good guitar work and the drummer was pretty good as well. It certainly was something to look around at the audience and see that the majority had the other colour hair. Definitely something you would not have seen thirty years ago. Anyway, I lined up afterward and got their autographs on my ticket.

1970's CD
5 July 2008 - 4:28pm — GailI played my old 1970's music in the car today. The Carpenters, Don Maclean, Simon and Garfunkel, Neil Young, and others. I had my case away elsewhere so hadn't listened to this one for a while and really enjoyed it.
My Night at the Show
1 July 2008 - 8:21pm — GailI went and saw the Australian Bee Gees Show (A tribute show). I had a really good time. I knew when I went that they were not the real thing and there were quite a few negatives to the show but I concentrated on the Positives. They put on a pretty good show. The guy who impersonated Maurice was excellent. The movements, mannerisms and talking, smile. He would easily pass for him and when I saw him after the show he looked to be a young man close up which was surprising. So, I sang all night and jigged and clapped. I even got their autographs. I will still listen to my real CD's and watch the real ones on DVD. They are one of a kind.
The Bee Gees Tribute Show
26 June 2008 - 7:52pm — GailI am going to see the Bee Gees Tribute Show on Saturday. It was here before but I preferred, if I were to go to a show for it to be to a real one but have now changed my mind. As they are back by popular demand and I have been leading a quiet life I decided to shout myself and go so I just went and bought the ticket this week. I will let you know how it goes.
