Thursday and still going strong

For a while now I would do really well on a Monday, Tuesday would be ok but might have something I shouldn't, Wednesdays feeling flat and by thursdays I am snacking on anything and everything so the rest of the week is normally out.

But today its Thursday and am still going strong!

B- omolete and cup of tea

mt- small serve of mixed fruit

L- chicken and corn soup

at- crossant... ok so not the best but considering its thurday and thats my first treat for the week thats pretty good

D- grilled chicken and steamed veggies

s- hot oveltine chocolate drink, handful of grain snacks

This morning after breakfast I decided to go get some exercise. Up until now I would ride to a particular place, there was always a purpose, but today was the first time out specifically for exercise and it was great, rode for 50min without a break, my gosh was I exhausted by the end! the riding I have done so far always had a break in the middle so this was an effort.

I decided today to finally fix Erics hair, I tried cutting it a few weeks ago and kinda made a mess of the back lol. So today I sat him on his boosta seat in front of a new dvd with the volume up load enough that he would not pay too much attention to the clippers. TV is great with kids lol, he sat nice and still while I ran the clippers all over his head. Thankfully its not as short as it was at the start of the year when my mum did his hair, its not much shorter then it was, just tidier.

Other then that it was just the usual sort of day, house work, study... had to duck up to the shops for a couple of things, made the mistake of going about 3:30 when I was slightly peckish so thats why I had the crossant. But I ate without guilt as I had been sooo good all week and one treat is not going to undo it all.

So feeling very proud of myself for getting through. I actually hoped on the scales this morning and so far this week have lost 1.7kg! dont know whats going on there as I have never lost that much in a week, and its only been a few days. maybe I was retaining water on Monday or something... who knows and who cares, still have a few more days to go before I officially weigh in and thats the figure that counts.

So best go now and get some study done... actually I have 10min until Greys Annatomy starts so might not get much done lol. Have a good night everyone

Sounds like you are totally into it again Nick, good on you! The only thing I found to help me stay sated while Betalifing is to add a small amount of protein to every snack,so a dollop of yogurt to you fruit at morning tea or ten almonds and at bedtime a tablespoon of almond meal in your hot chocolate would be enough to stop you craving probably?? If I don't eat protein steadily thru the day I get the slumps in the afternoon and crave carbs big time!!!!! If I do, I can quite easily go to the next mealtime without hunger and even when I get to the next meal, I am not overly hungry so I don't tend to overeat then..... make protein your friend Smiling

Good on you Nick! I can relate to your eating habits, I too often start the week really well but end it badly.
