What perfume are you wearing?

Betalife's picture

I caught up with a group of girlfriends and this conversation came up, so I thought it might be interesting to find out a bit more about everyone by the fragrance they wear.

I always admire those women who have some fabulous, rare scent on that was bought in someone exotic. Unfortunately, I am not one of them. I occasionally have a change once every year or two, but always come back to one. In fact, I think my scent is one of the most commonly worn perfumes - Chanel No 5. Always has been my fragrance, always will be.

How about everyone else?

Fee I used ti have Clarins "Eau Dynamisante"... I felt the same. Absolutely refreshing! Next time I want to treat myself I am going to get some more!

At the moment I have a few on my dresser. Flair by Revlon (was a gift, ok and I wear it now and then but i wouldnt rush out and buy another bottle)... Pleasures Intense by Estee Lauder - LOVE it and wear it if going out for a special night or if I want to make an impression.

I also have one my sister gave me - L'Eau D'Issey by Issey Miyake. Very nice!!

I also had a real real cheap one given to me. I usually dont like cheap perfume (I am a perfume snob) but this one was Allyssa Ashley White Musk. I loved it and have used it all!!! I will have to find out where it is sold because I will buy another bottle.

I wear "Fantasy" by Brittany Spears. I fell in love with the fragrance last year whilst walking through a shopping mall. They had little sample bottles where you could have a quick spray. I went home inhaling this fragrance all day and became addicted. The very next day i drove 30 mins to that mall and purchased the bottle. I've never looked back. I'm still addicted to it. And i can smell it a mile away on someone else. I love it.

My Favourite Perfume

Hi Renee & my Betalife friends - looks like we love beautiful scents as well as yummy foods!
I always use Clarins "Eau Dynamisante" after my shower etc & as a pick me up during the day. For evenings & layering when I want to feel fabulous my favourite is DIORELLA by Dior. Since I was about 19yrs old that has been 'the one' for me. Does that make me loyal or boring? Puzzled

Well, for me it's Green Tea (Estee Lauder) during the day while out shopping etc, or 5th Avenue (Elizabeth Arden), which I'm trying to finish off .. nearly there!!! Good excuse to get some more!!!.
When I'm going out my fav is Chanel No.5, I absolutely love it. I only got my bottle about 12 months ago, before that I had been wanting it for about 12 years, finally I got some. I also have Lou Lou and one i bought on my last holiday to Surfers called Diesel Fuel For Life which I think is really nice.

Imari

My favourite perfume was samsara, but for the last 10 years I haven't worn much 'perfume'. But I do really like Avon's imari range (deodorant, powder and body spray) and it's really good value for money.

Perfume-aholic

I must admit to total addiction for perfume I currently have about 10 different ones on the go. Favourites are Dior Addict, Knowing Estee Lauder, Agent Provocatuer, Fendi and Paloma Picasso - I love all the Orientals and buy it all on-line at a fraction of the price. Sometimes I just take a big gamble and order something because I like the description (only ever had one disaster). If you smell good you feel good!

My all time favourites are of course not cheap, but then I am worth it or so I tell my family all the time. *lol* Eye-wink

I love Arpege by Lanvin. Beautiful (don't ya just love the name) Beeuutifulll by Estee Lauder and my daughter got me Mariah for Christmas which has grown on me and when I wear it I always get compliments so it must suit me. Laughing out loud

I have tried Red Door but it smells disgusting on me - I think we all have different chemical make up that affect different perfumes and on me it smells like a toilet. Shocked

White Diamonds is okay on me but not special, I think perfume has to be special smelling on you or it is just not worth wearing. Just my opinion. Smiling

There are probably others that are great but I think you get your favourites and tend to stick to them if you know they suit you.

I rotate my perfumes and wear a different scent each day, unless I am in a particular mood and then it has to be Beautiful and nothing else for me. Laughing out loud
