Off the page

Hey there friends

It has been a while since I have been online and it doesn't look like I have changed my size.  I have been 121kgs for a while now.  I just recently split up with my husband and I am all off the page, off the show, and not feeling to good.

So I am not exersising, not eating right and I am so tired i am aching all over!!

I need some tips to get back on the page.  Any suggestions??

Franss

Take one step at a time

congratulations for making it back to Betalife. I agree with previous comments, the best thing to do is take one day, one step at a time and also to read the getting started guide again. I've just re-read it as I have been away for too long.

Welcome Back Franss

How good to see you back again. Smiling

Don't worry too much about the weight, you have had a lot going on in your life that had to take the front seat for a while. Now is your time and you will do this in your way and do it in style.

If exercise is a problem for you at present why not take it slowly ... by that I mean have gentle walks around your back yard instead of trying to start off with a 5 klm hike. Walk up a set of stairs and then down them again. All of this is exercise and counts towards getting you to goal weight and fittness.

When you are feeling up to it you could maybe prepare some meals in advance and freeze them for when you just can't be bothered cooking or don't have time to cook.

Prepare a menu for the week or even for the fortnight depending on when your money is available to go shopping.

It is surprising how valuable planning ahead can be as far as not letting yourself be tempted by running to the shops all the time for spur of the moment ingredients. Planning menus can not only save you time and trouble but it can save you money as well.

Good luck and as I said before Welcome Back it really is good to see you again. Take care of yourself and be kind to yourself. Smiling

Take it as slow as you need. make small changes until you are happy your back on track. Definatly read he getting started guide again, it really helps me whenever i am feeling a bit lost.
The only other thing i can recommend is blog whenever you get the chance or are stuggling with your diet, we are all here to help

Hi Franss
Well, I think you have taken the first step in coming in here. So, with your plan just take it one at a time. I would read the Get Started Guide again just to refresh and then I am making sure that I am drinking more water (I had lapsed from this for a while) and then eating more vegetables. Together we can do it.
