Jewellery Sales

The Jewellery Sales are on at the moment.  I have been watching a pair of gold earrings for a while.  They are usually $79 and I thought I would watch them and hopefully get them cheaper on sale.  The sale is for 50% off all gold and they are now priced at $77.  (the discount is off the usual full retail price).  So, I still don't need them that bad so will wait again.  I do not think they are worth the asking price otherwise I would just buy them.

What carat are they??? If they are 9ct + then I'd say that they're a good price now, especially seeing as $77 is half the price already. It really depends on whether you really like them and if you do, why not lay by. Be careful though cause these days, you can't take earrings back Smiling

There is always good old layby. Thats how i buy the more expensive items without breaking the budget.

I have a lot of gold jewellery but I have been getting it slowly for years .But some of it I am thinking of redesigning it into something else.I want to get a nice wedding band that I can wear to work as I have cluster wedding set as work is bringing in a law that you can't wear your rings except for a wedding ring.I am still looking.

I agree with you totally. I have bought quite a few very nice rings from Ebay. Gold plated, all under $30 but very pretty. I always get compliments when I wear them. I figure I can have lots at that price.

Yes I am a self confessed collector of Bling. I probably have more gold than I should have but heck, I don't drink (well not a lot anyway), smoke or waste money on a lot of other things so I may as well have what I like and what I want. I figure that at my age if I can't have a few nice things then what am I bothering to work for. Eye-wink

My daughter always tells me it is alright if I buy more jewellery because one day it will go to her anyway. *lol* Little witch!! Eye-wink

I always check out the shops Gail and there is also a pair of earrings that I have had my eye on as well. Might think about it next week when I am over at Chermside again. Eye-wink

Jewlery is just so expensive, most of it i think is a waste of money. i have 2 pair of earings, one i got for my 18th and the other my 21st birthday along with a neclace and a ring. I also own one good bracelet but rearly wear any of them

The next goal is always one step closer- keep moving
