Ear ache

I have an ear infection and boy is it sore.

I feel like a sook but I have never before had an ear infection that I can remember.  I have nursed the kids' through them and my husband used to get them all the time but I can't honestly ever remember having one of them myself or at least not in my adult life.   So I am feeling a little sorry for myself.

This seems to be the year for me to get whatever is going and I am normally not a sickly person so it has hit me like a double whammy.  I think a big part of this is my emotions but whatever it is I wish it would go away and leave me alone.  Sad

Tablets worked thank goodness and the ear ache is all gone. It is so cold and windy here at present that I am trying to be extra careful so that it does not come back. Smiling

Thanks for the well wishes. Smiling

I hope it is gone soon! Try and have a good week. Do what you have to, just to get through it.

Thanks everyone

I have both antibiotics and drops so hopefully this will clear up as fast as it arrived. Eye-wink

I hate the feel of the drops and it has given me a whole new perspective on how someone losing their hearing must feel. It nearly drove me mad last night so I am hoping for a better night tonight. The drugs may help with any luck. Smiling

Thanks for the well wishes.

I have only ever had one ear infection that I can remember when I was about 23. It came on so suddenly - literally within minutes I was in immense paid. So awful.

So you are not a sook. I hope the pain is starting to ease for you as I know you have enough to contend with at the moment.

**BIG HUG**

I seem to get a couple a year.

Ear muffs are worth investing in. They stop the wind aggravating it.

Get well soon.

Hi Katten
You need to do whatever you used to do for your kids. Either drops or antibiotics, take some pain killers and go to bed and have a sleep. I know how it hurts so it is okay to have a little cry. You should be a new woman in a couple of days.

I have never had an ear infection but have been told its not nice at all so i do hope it clears up very soon. These things are here to test us so just go with it all.
